i was so blessed to spend a weekend before the holidays with the beautiful gallo family. i can’t express the joy my heart felt seeing them together, home.

i love you three so much.

i’m honored to have a holiday guest post over at the rockstar diaries. head over there for a little recipe and some photos. thank you for having me!!

we planned for an outdoor backyard ceremony. it was pouring rain and about 43 degrees the day of our wedding. thanks to my amazing sister-in-law and the rest of our family and friends they somehow pulled off our entire wedding in a new location that no one had planned for until the morning of. and they just made me stay home and rest and brought me my favorite tea. it was such a blessed day. it was more beautiful than i could have imagined. i feel so grateful for my husband and our wonderful family.

i love my dad’s face in this one. he did really well not crying too much (he was worried he would).

one of my favorite photos of the day.

my brother gave the funniest, kindest, sweetest and surprise toast.

a + c :)

a dear friend made these. aren’t they beautiful?

many thankyous to caleb and eliza for taking these beautiful photographs for us.
i did a little guest post for morgan and kim this weekend. thank you for having me you two!
last week coldplay’s new album mylo xyloto came out. i’m a shameless coldplay fan and had it pre-ordered… caleb suggested we put away our phones, look away from our laptops, and just listen to the entire album straight through, as we imagine it’s one way the band might have meant it to be heard. it was a nice break in the day and we hope to do it more often.
